For owners & principals

AP controls that don't need another headcount

The enterprise AP platforms are built for companies with a procurement department and a six-month implementation budget. You have neither, which is why the control environment on a growing portfolio usually stays informal for years longer than it should. InletAP is the version of this that a small finance team can actually adopt — published pricing, a free tier, and no migration.

The free plan processes 25 invoices a month with unlimited users, takes no credit card and does not expire. You get your own intake address at the end of setup.

The job today

What this actually looks like before anything is automated

Where the time goes

  • · Invoice volume grows with the portfolio; the AP process does not.
  • · Controls are informal because formalizing them seems to require another hire.
  • · Every AP vendor you evaluate hides its pricing behind a demo call and an annual minimum.
  • · The ones that publish a number are built for a company with one ledger, not thirty owners.
  • · Duplicate payments and late fees are a cost nobody has quantified.
  • · Replacing the PMS to get better AP is a risk you are not willing to take.

What InletAP takes off you

  • A per-invoice cost you can calculate against your own volume before you commit to anything.
  • Separation of duties enforced by roles and approval thresholds rather than by trust.
  • Duplicate detection at ingest, before an approver ever sees the second copy.
  • An audit trail that shortens the conversation with your accountant and your auditor.
  • A shared invoice lands in each owner's books as that owner's share, in that owner's company file — not as a journal somebody remembers to reverse.
  • No implementation project — a workspace and a working intake address in one session.
  • Your PMS and your ledger stay exactly where they are.

What you get

The parts of the product built for this role

Pricing you can read

Free for 25 invoices a month, then $39, $99 or $249. Overage is $0.18 to $0.35 an invoice. Unlimited users on every tier, so approvals are not rationed by license count. No annual minimum, no implementation fee, no call required to find out. Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax, which is added where it applies.

No migration

InletAP sits in front of your PMS and your ledger rather than replacing either. The riskiest project in your pipeline is the one you get to not run.

Separation of duties

Role-based access splits coding from approval, thresholds decide how many approvals an amount needs, and approvals are irreversible and attributed with a comment.

Duplicate-payment protection

Caught on message ID, attachment fingerprint and a vendor / number / date / amount heuristic, at ingest — the cheapest possible place to catch it.

An audit trail that ends arguments

Append-only, with actor, timestamp and before/after value on every change. Who approved the $22,000 HVAC invoice is a filter, not an afternoon.

Scales with the portfolio

Move up a plan when volume grows rather than renegotiating a contract. Multi-entity separation means adding an owner or a joint venture does not mean adding a system.

How you're measured

The numbers this role gets asked about, on a page you can open

Cost per processed invoice

Plan cost plus overage, divided by volume. With published pricing you can work it out on a napkin before you sign up.

Volume per AP head

Throughput per user per day, charted. The number that tells you whether growth needs another hire.

Control exceptions

SLA breaches, quarantined documents and duplicates caught — the operational evidence that the controls are doing something.

Questions from this seat

A note on what we do not claim: InletAP is early and does not yet have a base of published customer results, so you will not find a case-study percentage anywhere on this site. The category benchmarks on the homepage are third-party figures about manual versus automated AP, cited and linked. Run them against your own invoice volume — that is a more useful number than anyone's testimonial.

The rest of the team

Everyone who touches the invoice gets their own view

An invoice is handled by several people. See the whole pipeline to understand where each of them picks it up.

AP specialists

Stop re-typing invoices that were already typed once

You live in the queue. InletAP hands you the documents that genuinely need a decision and gets out of the way on the rest.
