Your privacy choices

This page is the opt-out. It controls the advertising tags on the InletAP marketing site — nothing else — and it works whether or not the law where you live requires us to offer it.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

InletAP does not sell personal information for money. We do load advertising tags on the marketing site, and California law treats that as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Use this control to turn it off. It applies to this site only; it has no effect on the invoice data inside your workspace, which is never used for advertising.

The choice is stored in this browser, so it has to be made again on another browser or device, and clearing site data clears it. We cannot tie it to you without asking for more information than the choice needs. To have an opt-out recorded against your account instead, write to privacy@inlet-ap.com.

What the advertising tags are

Four, all of them advertising-network tags on the marketing site: the Meta pixel, the Reddit pixel, the Microsoft advertising (UET) tag and the LinkedIn Insight tag. They set cookies in your browser and tell those networks that a browser visited a page here, which lets us measure whether an ad worked and show a later ad to people who have been here before. That is the activity California calls sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising.

They run on the public marketing pages only. They are not loaded inside the application, they never see an invoice, a vendor or an amount, and no workspace data is sent to an advertising network at any time.

What this control does not switch off

Our own site analytics keep running, and we think it is more honest to say so than to bundle them in. They are first-party and deliberately minimal: page-view analytics that sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device, and product analytics run in a cookieless mode. Neither builds an advertising profile, neither is shared with an advertising network, and there is nothing there to sell.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser or an extension sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we read it on every visit and treat it as an opt-out of sale and sharing. No advertising tag loads, and the button above cannot switch one on while the signal is present. You do not need to tell us anything else, and we will not ask you to confirm it.

Firefox, Brave and DuckDuckGo can send the signal from their privacy settings, and extensions add it to other browsers. It travels with the browser, so it covers every site you visit rather than only this one.

Your other privacy rights

Access, deletion, correction, portability and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of them are set out in the privacy policy, together with how we verify a request and how long we take.

Requests go to privacy@inlet-ap.com, or by post to 1001494310 ONTARIO INC. d/b/a InletAP, 10 Macphail Ave, Toronto, ON, M4K 4A2, Canada. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf with written permission we can check.
